If you’re reading this, reserve gratitude for even the smallest things

In life, we naturally wish for things to be better than they are at the moment. This isn’t a bad thing, and it may even give us the motivation to strive for greatness. While that is pretty cool, it is extremely important to make sure that we take a second to be reminded of the positives within our lives that often go unnoticed.

Even when it may seem like there are none, you can always find a beacon of light within your situation. Whether it’s your dog being cheerful to see you, your friends making you laugh, or even something as small as a passing grade on a quiz. Taking the time to acknowledge these wins, no matter how big or small, can give you the strength to take on even the toughest of days. Everything you do is a reflection of you, and if you look close enough you can see all of the beauty and strength that begins inside of you reflected in fragments all throughout your life.

Similarly, it is also important to remember that every win has weight. Every passed test, every job promotion, and every complement from a stranger actively sets you up for greatness. Allow yourself to bask in these wins, and wear them proudly.
