IfYoureReadingThis.org is one of many great resources available to University of Georgia students. Below we’ve provided a brief description of a few of these resources, as well as how to access them. While this list is not exhaustive, we hope it is helpful.
UGA Fontaine Center
The Fontaine Center promotes student well-being through health education, alcohol and other drug prevention, sexual health promotion, and relationship and violence prevention resources. Students can access workshops, peer education, and confidential support services.

#BeWellUGA
#BeWellUGA is a central mental health and well-being resource for the University of Georgia community, offering free programs, events, and services to support student wellness. Hosted by UGA Well-being Resources, #BeWellUGA provides opportunities for students to strengthen their physical, mental, and social health through interactive classes, workshops, and campus-wide initiatives designed to help them thrive in all areas of life.

Counseling and Psychiatric Services
Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) offers short-term individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, and crisis intervention to support student mental health and well-being. Services are confidential and available to all eligible UGA students.

Headspace App
UGA students have free access to the Headspace app, which offers guided meditations, breathing exercises, and mindfulness tools designed to reduce stress, improve focus, and enhance emotional resilience.

Center for Counseling and Personal Evaluation
The Center for Counseling and Personal Evaluation (CCPE) provides affordable behavioral health services to Athens-area residents and the UGA community. As an interdisciplinary clinic, psychology, counseling, pharmacy, and nursing faculty and students collaborate to promote whole-person well-being. CCPE offers individual counseling and psychological assessments, with fees adjusted for income.

Nuçi’s Space
Nuçi’s Space is a nonprofit mental health resource center located near downtown Athens, dedicated to suicide prevention and supporting college students and local musicians. They connect individuals to appropriate care and community resources.
