If you’re reading this, here’s a letter from our outgoing co-presidents.

When Imari reached out to me to join IYRT as the Vice President of Internal Public Relations (social media chair) during my Sophomore/Junior year, I did not know how much I would fall in love with this organization. Even as I transitioned into my presidency, my pride and joy for this chapter, as I have gotten the opportunity to watch it grow, has only increased.

I cannot stress enough that every letter matters to us, and I want to thank every last one of our writers, past and present, for being vulnerable enough to share a piece of themselves with us.

We appreciate you. We see you. We hope the best for you, our fellow Tigers, as you walk through these hills.

Thank you for being here.

Alisa W., Clemson University

I hope you know that every single letter you send truly makes an impact on the lives of many, because what might seem small to you can mean everything to someone else. It has the power to encourage, uplift, and remind people that they’re not alone. When I was first asked to write a letter, I didn’t fully understand what I was stepping into or how meaningful it would become.

Looking back, it’s been a journey that has opened my eyes, strengthened my perspective, and given me something I’m genuinely grateful to be a part of. This experience has shown me the importance of connection, kindness, and simply taking the time to show up for others. Even the smallest effort can create a lasting impact, and your words matter more than you think.

To everyone continuing this at Clemson University, best of luck; keep inspiring, supporting, and making a difference.
